Gold ETF’s
There are 4 gold ETF’s worth considering: GLD, IAU, GLDM, and SGOL. GLD is the oldest, largest, and most liquid but charges a 0.40% expense ratio. IAU is the second largest and has a lower expense ratio at 0.25%. GLDM/SGOL have even lower expense ratios but aren’t as liquid. While the expense ratio of GLD is the highest of the 4, it has a lower avg spread so if you are actively trading, it may be cheaper.
